A nephew of one of my coworkers (in my full time work life) has been fighting, and winning, the battle against leukemia for a little over a year now. He is in remission and has not taken this lying down. Leukemia knocked him down, but not out. He has become a fierce advocate and fundraiser for the fight against leukemia. I'm proud to say I have met him. This young man will do amazing things in his life, just you wait and see.
We're donating some cuppys to the dance marathon happening this weekend at Franklin High School. 100% of the money raised goes directly to Riley Hospital for Children. All of it. Not a dime goes anywhere else. 50% goes to oncology research. 50%! That's awesome. Stupendous. Magnificent! In the grand scheme of things, a few cupcakes aren't much. But if it helps make the night go a little faster and smoother for the crew running the show, we're glad to have been a part of it.
If you can, please donate. Evan Meade is the big man on campus!
